Andaman base. Phi Phi, Krabi, and Koh Lanta by ferry. Best Nov to Apr.

Koh Samui

Gulf island base. Koh Phangan and Koh Tao by ferry. Year-round viable.

Pattaya

2 hours from Bangkok. Beach resort with Koh Larn nearby.
