Krabi Province (กระบี่) covers more ground than most visitors expect. Ao Nang (อ่าวนาง) is the main tourist beach — accessible by road, walkable, with good restaurant infrastructure. Railay (ไร่เลย์) is reachable only by longtail boat and offers limestone cliffs, clear water, and no motorbikes. Klong Muang and Tubkaek on the north Krabi coast are quieter alternatives for resort travelers who want fewer crowds. SHA certification in Krabi is administered by the regional TAT office.
