Mint Wongsakul

Mint writes about food the way she eats it, slowly and with her whole attention. She trained in a professional kitchen before moving to the page, and that time on the line changed how she orders: she can tell which dish a restaurant actually cares about, why the balance of a curry matters more than its heat, and how a room's light and ceramics quietly season a meal before the first bite. She writes every dish and venue in Thai script alongside English, because a name like ข้าวซอย carries a texture that "khao soi" alone leaves out. Her food guides double as design notes, since she covers the hotels that treat a breakfast table as carefully as a lobby. On any given weekend she is at a wet market before sunrise, following the smell of something grilling.
