Nam plans trips for a living, or used to, coordinating day-by-day routes for travelers who had one week and a wish list twice too long. That work left her with a planner's honesty about time: how days actually connect, what a "quick transfer" really costs you, and the exact point where an ambitious itinerary starts to fall apart. She writes in the plain, do-this-then-that voice of someone who has rescued a lot of over-packed schedules, and she would rather cut a stop than pretend you can fit it. Her itineraries are built to survive contact with a real morning, delays and all. Off the clock she is a compulsive planner too, happiest on a national-park trail with the day mapped out, or building a spreadsheet nobody asked for.
